Doodle Fiction

Blog
a type of poetry that is geared to be performed on stage for an audience rather than merely exists in print for others to read. It is often associated with a younger demographic and or a hip-hop culture and lifestyle.
Spoken Word Poetry
type of popular music, the lyrics are spoken, not sung.

Hyper Poetry
Story through text and illustrated images. 50% of the narrative is presented without words. The reader must interpret the images to comprehend the story completely. Textual portions are presented in traditional form. Some illustrated novels may contain no text at all. Span all genres.
Illustrated Novel
Triple Media Literature. Combines three media: book, movie/video and internet website. To get the full story, students must engage in navigation, reading, and viewing in all three forms.
Digi Fiction
Narrative in comic book formats. Narrative work in which the story is conveyed to the reader using a comic form. The term is employed in broadly manner, encompassing non-fiction works and thematically linked short stories as well as fictional stories across a number of genres.
Graphic Novel
is a poem using mobile phone and is patterned with tanaga having four rhyming lines with seven or eight syllables per line and so with its method, theme and subject.
Text Tanaga
is a literary work originally written on a cellular phone via text messaging and usually consists of about 70-100 words each due to character limitations on cell phones.
SMS Fiction/Texttula
is a genre of crime fiction and film marked by moral ambiguity (open to more than one interpretation), fatalism (fate, destiny) and cynicism (motivated by self-interest).
Noir Fiction
is a narrative genre marked by brevity or word limit requiring not more than fifty words or fewer than one thousand words and is commonly associated with flash fiction, micro fiction or pocket story.
Sudden Fiction: a.k.a Flash Fiction
is a rich mix of flavors, ideas, and techniques, which are newly invented and others as old as writing itself like essay, a journal article, a research paper, a memoir, a poem or reportage; it can be personal or not.
Creative Nonfiction
is a genre of speculative fiction dealing with imaginative concepts such as futuristic science and technology, space travel, time travel, faster than light travel, parallel universe and extraterrestrial life, and explores the potential consequences of scientific and other innovations and has been called a “literature of ideas”.
