STEROIDS
Stomach ulcers
Thin skin
oEdema
Right and left heart failure
Osteoporosis
Infection (including Candida)
Diabetes
(commonly causes hyperglycaemia and uncommonly
progresses to diabetes)
Cushing’s Syndrome
Contraindicated in bleeding, suspected bleeding and people at risk of bleeding (e.g. liver disease)
Anticoagulants
