Q

What is the purpose of a hybrid device?

A

Provides a common hybrid access point, e.g. hybrid router. Broadcasts a wi-fi signal as well as containing ethernet ports for connecting wired devices; it would also have a port for connecting to a cable or DSL modem via an ethernet cable. Allows for the mobility and flexibility of a wireless network while providing the speed for accessing large files in an office environment.
