Not much change for first 150 years, big change in last 50 years due to the new standing army of the New Model Army

Armies were a mix of cavalry, infantry and artillery, usually 2:1 infantry to cavalry

Field artillery got lighter and stonger

Change from billmen to pikemen due to the success of the Swiss, however it required a large amount of training
Evidence was that a pike unit would always beat the old style infantry
But by 1520’s, pikemen were vulnerable to musket fire
