Royal Waggoners - transport troops
Royal Army Service Corps - supply food and petrol
Logistics were even more demanding - D Day
RASC merged to form the Royal Logistics Corps which planned the logistics for the Iraq War
Explosive Disposal - create and maintain safety

What was the impact of technology on strategy and tactics in 1900 - present

A

Disrupted the clear tactical plan , now ICBMs and aircraft had to be used to bombard and then helicopters and vehicles to deliver soldiers and then artillery
More co-ordination needed in attacks unlike the 1940 Blitzkrieg attacks, using information and surveillance from satellites, communication and guided weapons

Developed Asymmetric warfare where there were unequal sides and unequal and unjust force used
