How has ADHD influenced your career choice, whether as an artist, entrepreneur, scientist, or educator

A

An organised system to remember each child name: evaluation and observation diaries:
I use acronyms or linking name’s children to their faces to remember. Also when I talk to children I always reply their name to do as many repetitions as possible which I call AMRAP method.

Q

Professional Path

Share a story from your professional life where ADHD played a crucial role—positive or negative.

A

By my emotional scars due to my insecurities I connect in a deeper level with children who are misunderstood or some teachers call it disruptive. I listen using empathy to show their true authenticity so they trust on me and ask me sharing personal stories. For me it was so fantastic because sometiems I was the only person they tell this experience.

Varied Experiences

Every person’s ADHD journey is different. How do you think your background and personal experiences have shaped your relationship with ADHD

A

I wasn’t diagnosed and maybe this was better or worse. I knew I was different and I like it. I don’t like feeling the protagonist but I enjoy playing with children. My cousin was diagnosed starting taking medication but I didn’t envy her. Her behavior change a little and I thought she acted like a zombie. I didn’t want to be like this so I always think as a superhero like Superman with the kryptonite. I feel I was less madure than my friends but I like my perspective I had this Peter Pan syndrome maybe
