  • 5% = dry/tacky membranes, mild depression
  • 7% = moderate skin tent, tachycardia, slow jugular refill
  • 10% = moderate to marked skin tent, decreased pulse pressure, cold extremities, depressed
  • 12% = marked skin tent, signs of shock, obtundation
