Add the definite article -en or -et
(note: only one t) to the end of the noun.

Notice that if the noun ends in vowel, the end article is -n or -t

Word, order straight, and inverted

A

Front. verb subject etc.
(a) Hon bor - i Minnesota
(b) just nu bor hon i Stockholm
(c) på morgonen cyklar hon till universitetet.
(d) ofta börjar hon klockan åtta.
If the sentence begins with a subject as in a , It has straight word order I.e. Subject – verb.
It begins with non subject as in b,c and d, the subject is placed immediately after the verb and this is called inverted word order.
The most common non-subjects beginning the sentence are expressions of time and place as in b c and d.
