What is the CRISPR CAS-9 system
It is a adaptive immune system that learns previous infections from the cell and develop a memory to slice up the same infection.

What does CAS1 and CAS2 do?
They read the PAM sequence and then cut out a protospacer to be added to the CRISPR ARRAY

It binds to PAM sequence, and checks if protospacer is complementary to the gRNA then cuts to disable virus.
