Primary green crime = crimes which directly inflict harm on people and the environment.
Recognises 4 main primary types
- air pollution
- water pollution
- deforestation and species decline
- animal rights
Secondary green crime = refers to the actions committed as a response to the commissioning of primary green crime.
Like attempts to cover it by breaking regulations
E.g. Using criminal organisations to assist in the dumping of toxic waste
