A
  • : the tasks are very artificial and not something that would usually be asked in the real world so this would mean the results would not be representative of what they would say or do in real life

Q

Guardia Ethics

A
  • : may be unethical to ask healthy and AN people to rate themselves, have themselves measures and ask them if they can fit through openings as this could make them feel worse about themselves as they are already self conscious, leading to worsening of the disorder.

+ : all AN ppts were being treated foe AN so this means they would have the help they needed if they did have any problems after the experiment.
