A

-used by PT’s and ATC’s
-purpose: provide support
-flexible cloth tape, easily torn, not elastic

A

-rigid cloth tape
-requires scissors to cut
-purpose: to provide support and positioning
-used in McConnell taping

-assist healing in traumatized tissues
-rock tape sturdier than kinesio
-purpose: increased lymph drainage, muscle inhibition, or facilitation
