  1. Injury of male urethra spongy part leads to urine extravasation into superficial perineal pouch then spreads into scrotum and penis
  2. It can ascend in front of symphysis pubis to reach anterior abdominal wall or descend to upper part of thigh front down to fusion line between superficial fascia membranous layer and fascia lata
