Q

What is meant by the termination stage and what is the intervention?

A
  • indv no longer turns to add bhvs to cope with stress/anx
  • confident in ability to resist add bhvs
  • final stage may not be possible for all ppl to achieve
  • most appropriate goal for some would be to prolong maintenance for as long as they can, accepting that relapse is likely to occur at some point
  • no intervention required
