Majority women do not need LA diagnostic should be advised will be like period cramps

Nitrous oxide should be available

Procedure diagnostic average 3 mins

Standard approach for hyst?

Answer 2

Vaginoscopy 3.5mm scope diagnostic
N. Saline
Avoid speculum and dilation routinely

Views obtained should be panoramic/ostia/fundus/walls/canal/cx any pathology

Record sound length if iud or biopsy

Only biopsy if strong indication

Cervical block if dilation/instrumentation

Consider stopping if taking > 10mins
