Manufactured from minerals extracted from the ground/synthetic chemicals.

What are the advantages of inorganic fertilisers?
A
Already broken down, so nutrients can be absorbed more quickly.
Concentrated- easier and cheaper to transport and spread.
Can provide single/multiple nutrients- so can be more tailored than organic.

What are the disadvantages of inorganic fertilisers?
A
Expensive to buy
Don’t help soil structure or soil organisms.
