Analysis
A metaphor used to describe her loss without othello.
Shows her naivety as it’s ironic because Desdemona is unaware she’s in between the conflict and being used to disturb othello’s peace.

Analysis
Iago realises he will be able to exploit Desdemona’s righteousness to manipulate othello. Arguably, her enhanced kind nature makes her too naive.

Roderigo knows he’s foolish for being so in love with Desdemona, makes him naive as he’s willing to do anything to have her.
