A

A

positives: more food and water to go around, more jobs available, families have more money and time
negatives: dependency ratio going up, boy:girl ratio getting worse since families would rather have a boy

A

Land use: they build up and down to conserve space/ use it all
Housing: small homes use rooms for multiple purposes and small appliances
Transportation: parking laws, public transportation (fast trains SHINKANSEN)
Health: environmental laws and sick people wear masks

A

ocean currents warm the island

Name two positives and two negatives of the Three Gorges Dam.

A

positives- clean energy from a clean source, flood control, boats can navigate better
negatives: historical settlements destroyed to build the dam, may not be stable in earthquakes, animals losing their habitats become endangered

A

Good for shipping things to other countries also seafood is a big thing there

A

since they have so many people and not much space they need to keep garbage to a minimal

It is a massive wall that was built to protect the Chinese Empire from foreign invaders (longest man made structure in the world)
