What is the meaning on Joong Gun?

A

Joong gun is named after the patriot Ahn Joong Gun who assassinated Hiro Bum Ito, the first Japanese governor - general of Korea. Known as the man who played the leading part in the Korea-Japan merger.

The 32 moves represent Mr Ahn’s age when he was executed in Lui-Shung prison in 1910.

What is the meaning of Chon Ji?

A

Chon Ji literally means the heaven and the earth, in the orient it’s interrupted as the beginning of the world or the beginning of human history.

Therefore, it is a pattern done by the beginner.

This pattern consists of 2 similar parts - one to represent the heaven and the other the earth.
