  • Let Sa be the distance travelled by object A, and Sb for object B

Sa = ut + 0.5at^2 Sb = ut + 0.5at^2

If a collision occurs at point C then Sa + Sb = D

  • This gives you the time of when the collision occurred
  • Same analysis if motion is vertical
