What is the purpose of the technique? What are you measuring? Why?

A

Purpose is to assess patients strength.

1RM - the maximum amount of weight one can lift in a single repetition for a given exercise
MRM - maximum amount of weight one can lift over a specified number of repetitions

Used to address base strength for rehabilitation

Warmup
