A
Compare to unaffected side or ‘norms’

Contraindications
A
- Immediately post injury
- Early unstable fracture
- Sub-luxation/Dislocation
- Intolerable pain
- Incomplete muscle/ligament tear
- Compromised circulation

What are you looking for during assessment?
A
- Reproduction of symptoms
- Restriction of Movement (or ROM)
- Quality of Movement

What things should you consider as a therapist when doing passive movements?
A
- Access
- Hand hold
- Movement quality
- Speed
- Range
- Planar or functional movement?
- Caution with 2 joint muscles
