What is CQ and what is it for?
Charge of Quarters. All AiTs in all phases must present their phase transition card and CAC to the duty airman at CQ and sign out whenever leaving Specker Area for any reason except to go to school or to perform details as assigned by MTL.
Fill out CQ log with what info
must be annotated with valid destination (not just off post) and sign in is required for each sign out. AiTs must sign for themselves
How is Specker area boundaries defined?
one block area with South Dakota, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Nebraska Aves
When can Phase 1 AiT leave Specker?
Can not leave area without a wingman (must be AF) or immediate family member
When can Phase 2 and 3 AiT leave Specker?
Can not leave After 1930 without a wingman (AF) or immediate fam member. Do not leave post without wingman.
What is the Airman Leader Program?
Airman leaders (Ropes) assist MTLs with day to day activities.
What color ropes are available?
Green, yellow, then red
Can airmen leaders take 341?
Yes
What must AiT do when speaking with civilians/military staff members?
Assume position of attention and give reporting statement, “Sir/Ma’am Airman ___ reports as ordered.” Remain at position until instructed otherwise. Perform facing movement when leaving
What actions conducted with Reveille?
Come to position of attention and face the nearest US flag or music
What actions conducted during retreat?
Come to position of parade rest and face nearest US flag. If no US flag, face music. As to the colors begins to sound, come to attention and render a salute for the duration of music
What color backpacks are allowed?
black
What is allowed on backpacks?
Name tag and official 368 TRS patch
What must AiT wear throughout duty day?
OCPs. Correct uniform violations on spot
When is pajamas allowed?
Phase 2 but not outside of dorms
What mandatory items are AiTs required to have at all times (on or off post)?
CAC, Phase card, 3 AETC 341 forms (must be up to date and filled out correctly), SARC card, Wingman card, Waiver (must be current)
What info is on 341s?
building, room, phase, name, grade, org, class/flight
What areas are off limits to AiTs?
Construction sites, opposite gender dorms, inside other service dorms, permanent party or TDY dorms, post housing, recreation parks/caves/rivers on post after dusk, lodging (without MTL approved pass)
Non prior AiTs must act how?
Professionally at all times with permanent party service members and with prior service students assigned on TDY
Off duty AiTs may do what when it comes to interacting?
acknowledge, exchange professional greetings, and engage in brief social pleasantries with perm party service and TDY students outside of class. Encouraged to learn how to interact professionally with superiors
Non Prior AiTs may not what?
Pursue or allow personal relations with perm party or TDY airmen regardless of rank or position. Must decline and report to chain of command if pursued
If support service is required who can AiTs call when needing support?
CQ, On Call MTL, First Sergeant
How is family emergencies validated?
Through Red Cross. Will require full name, social security and unit info and first sergeant #. Share specific info about at risk fam member condition.
What do AiTs report regarding dorms?
inoperative, broken, damaged infrastructure, equipment to an MTL or by scanning QR Code
