Pumps blood throughout the body

Oxygen is transported + delivered to body cells (muscles, organs, skins, etc.)

O^2 + Fuels + Electrolytes (which help the muscles do the normal things) are transported to the cells. Waste products are removed from the cells and transported back to the heart (CO2)

Controlling body heat - most obviously to cool down the body

A
White blood cells are carried in the blood. They are sent to any area of the body that requires assistance to fight infection, illness, etc.
