STRUCTURE PROTECTION GUIDELINES:
— Always stay mobile.
— Engines should be backed in to assure a rapid escape if necessary.
— Do not make long hose lays.
— Check road conditions before the fire hits.
— Check each home for defensibility; move patio furniture into or away from the structure,
close windows and doors.
— Check for hazardous materials, LPG, fuel, etc.
— If a home becomes well involved, leave it and move on to one you can save.
– Always wear full wildland safety gear.
— Firefighter safety is always the number one priority.
