90% of Encopresis is due to:
constipation
Criteria to dx Encopresis (2)
1 encopresis episode/week.
What must you do when assessing Encopresis?
Abd x-ray to evaluate severity, r/o obstruction

Dx: KOH prep, Woods lamp
Tx: Griseofulvin - take w/ fatty meal

3 mo: lifts head 6 mo: sits independently 9 mo: crawls 12 mo: walks (wide based gait) 18-24 mo: arms swinging walk 18 mo: runs

Fine motor movements (4)
3-4 mo: Grasp using raking motion
5 mo: thumb added to grasp
9 mo: near pincer grasp
18-30 mo: become righty/lefty

2 mo: cooing 6-10 mo: babbling (coo'ing + consenants) 12 mo: single words, pointing/gesturing 12-18 mo: 5-10 words 12-24: expressive vocab 24 mo: 2-3 word phrases
