The Bible uses two words for repentance, Metamellomai and Metanaeo, what do these words mean and what is the difference between them?
Metamellomai- to regret, to care afterwards, to be sorry for after the fact.
Metanaeo- to think differently, to change one’s mind, purpose, or opinion.
The difference is that Metamellomai is a feeling, a sorrow.
Metanaeo is an action afterward.
