A

What are the Ainsworth Types of Attachment?

A

Secure attachment: child is able to explore using mum as a base, upset by mum leaving. Greets stranger positively.

Insecure Avoidant: ignores mum on depart or reunion and ok when left alone with the stranger. But the child will not explore.

Insecure Resistant: upset when mum leaves, difficult to console and shows resentment.

Disorganised.

A

Child begins to see care giver as independent person. Children begin to notice others goal. Eg. Where babies cry because of pain, children would cry to summon their caregiver.
