What is quality control?
A process that makes sure that product quality is maintained or improved through the reduction of mistakes (done after product is made)
What is quality assurance?
This is when the product is checked at every production stage to make sure the product has no defect
What is quality circles?
Groups of people meeting up on a daily to discuss how to improve or fix issues with production
What is total quality management (TQM)?
It is when quality is put at the heart of the company ( A total quality management system will involve features such as quality circles and zero defect policy).
Meaning of Continuous Improvement (Kaizen)?
Constantly introducing small changes in order to improve production process of product
What is the competitive advantage of quality management?
It allows business’ to have better products than their rivals, and therefore they will have better satisfaction
