1st stage: neurons multiply
2 stage: cell migration
3 stage: cells elaboration continue to produce years after birth.
Just a fact in brain what is happening in the CNS during these stages: myelin sheath layer of fat goes around axons in CNS to make connections goes faster and rapid growth b/w neurons in brain through synaptic connections.Mylen sheath is associated with spine and peripheral nervous system and the rapid growth and synaptic connections involved the brain. The brain is mainly gray matter because it is not myelinated. Just has few sections in brain with myelin.

A

1.Think about what remains when a child is observed to have atypical development?
2.why do we have reflexes? Its for protective device essential in babies keeping them alive, prevents them from missing out on chance to get nutrients.
3.How do reflexes help with movement?
rooting reflex creates segmentation, develop proprioceptive awareness, ATNR helps with eye hand visual motor. Every reflex affects different.
