Puppy= preferred position + extended arm WB

Rolling: prone - supine (1st) = extension component
Supine to prone(2nd) = flexor component

Supine: post PT with hand-foot + mouth to foot

Feet-hands-eyes= ⬆️body awareness

Sitting; sit unsupported briefly by popping forward on extended upper extremities

Stand: bouncing with help

Head control fully developed

Prone: pivoting

Roll from supine to prone

Atypical gross motor development : 4-6 months

A

Hypotonia with abduction and external rot of extremities=no adduction

Asymmetrical posture of head and trunk (head tilted and trunk bent to one side) = hemiplegia

Poor midline orientation of head and arms

Unilateral extremity mvt

Lower extremity extension in standing with weight on toes and does not bring heel to ground

Does not flex legs +arms in supine and no lifting of bum to bring hand to feet( 5 months)

Supine to prone using extensor pattern ( want to see controlled rolling)

Prone and quadruped = preferred position

Quadruped:
Bear standing
Crawling

Rise to stand : quadruped- crawls to furnitures - extends both legs or half kneeling- lifts body
