Explain how a bridge rectifier works.
A
A bridge rectifier has a square arrangement of 4 diodes with current given 2 paths to flow depending on the polarity of the input signal. Only 2 of the 4 diodes will be forward biased at any given time. The circuit essentially reverses one cycle of the incoming AC signal.
