Q

What is a gerund? Answer in English.

A

the gerund in Spanish is a verb form that ends in ‘ando/iendo’ and is used as a compound verb (two or more verbs together) as an adverb or something else that I don’t know. estoy estudiando - also called the present participle, like English verbs ending in “ing” I am studying.

A

Le here is an Indirect Object PN and NOT a DO and means HIM. LE refers to the PERSON that received the hit.
It is a weird thing but is used with words like dar, pegar, decir and the IOPN is LE not lo. I don´t really get it but this is a whole thing to study some other day.
A plena luz is about time and is the same as a mediodía, a primera hora, needs the a
