The causes of world poverty:
A
Natural disasters - situated in areas of world where earthquakes are common, can destroy thousands of homes
Wars - destroy crops, homes, schools, hospitals and cause poverty
Debt - have to borrow money from banks however interest they have to pay can make countries poorer
HIV/Aids - spreading through LEDCs resulting in many people being unable to work and children left orphaned
