Q

When do you use engine anti-ice?

A

When OAT (Ground) / TAT (Flight) 10° C or below with visible moisture present. Visible moisture includes fog
with visibility ≤1 mile, rain, snow, sleet or ice crystals; it also includes standing water, slush, ice or snow on the
taxiway and/or runway(COM 3.201.2)
• Prior to and during descent in icing conditions (including temperatures below –40° C SAT)
