Unquestionable death criteria
Unresponsive Apneic Pulseless •as well as meeting at least one of the following criteria- -lividity -signs of decay/decomposition -rigor mortis -open cranium w/ exposed brain matter -decapitated/ severed trunk -full thickness burns over entire body
Trauma Death
Blunt chest trauma or multi system trauma meeting the following shall be considered DOS
Apneic
Pulseless
Cardiac rhythm is asystole or wide complex ventricular rhythm of 30 or less without a pulse document time and pronounce death
Medial asystole
Does not meet unquestionable criteria but is apneic, pulseless, and asystolic must meet all of the following
- Arrest not witnessed
- No shocks provided prior to arrival
- > or = to 18y/o
- rhythm remains asystole after 3 rounds full acls
Transport criteria in regards to BP
Systolic > 180 or Diastolic >110
Systolic <90
Immobilizing a pregnant patient greater than ____ weeks May cause supine hypotension syndrome

Systolic >220
Diastolic >120
Abnormal carboxyhemoglobin saturation levels
Non-smoker-
Smoker-
> 5%
> 10%
Pre-eclampsia
Physical exam may reveal BP >_____, and tachycardia, tachypnea, pulmonary edema, confusion, and generalized edema
