Any one results in trauma alert

A
  • Active airway assistance
  • Circulation-faint/non-palpable carotid of femoral; or systolic <50
  • Consciousness-AMS including drowsiness, lethargy, inability to follow commands, unresponsive to voice, totally unresponsive, coma, paralysis, susp spinal cord injury, loss of sensation
  • Open long bone FX, multiple FX sites or dislocations
  • Cutaneous-Major soft tissue disruption. 2nd° or 3rd° burns to 10% or more. Amputation proximal to wrist/ankle

  • Consciousness- amnesia, LOC
  • Circulation-radial or pedal not palpable; or systolic <90
  • FX-single long bone
  • Size-11kg or less or equal to that length/weight on peds tape(33” or less)
