Effects of overpopulation

A

People are forced to inhabit on the outer islands of Bangladesh that reach into the bay of Bengal which are vulnerable to floods and typhoons-takes many lives
Young Bangladeshi women often recruited to work abroad as domestic servants. Many work in the oils states of the Persian Gulf to provide for their families.
Migration from densely populated rural areas to cities like Dhaka to escape poverty occurs, however these people have few skills so are forced to live in shanty town on the outskirts of the city which increases poverty
Overcrowding, limited access to clean drinking water and few jobs cause high mortality
Underemployment and poverty in shanty towns
Suffering from overpopulation and poverty at both rural and urban level
