A
  • The accounting dept - responsible to provide info to the mgt of the orgs - role may be undermined if there’s information they are not aware of
  • mgt not aware - caused wrong decision making
  • time may be wasted consolidating data - if systems have different definitions or methods of calculating info
  • difficult for each dept to work towards the same objectives

A

Privacy - the info is shared with the wrong people - identity theft/fraud

AI - used to identify patterns in data - bad decisions - BCS does not take account any factors that are not included in the data that it analyses

Transparency - black box problem - know what info goes to the system but don’t know what happens inside the system itself
