huck is about to hide the bag of money when
mary jane comes down the stairs
since mary jane is coming, he quickly puts the money in the
coffin
huck sees mary jane crying over the coffin and he
heads back to his cubby
peter wilks’s funeral takes place, and huck is mainly concerned about the money
hidden in the coffin
the reverend begins to speak but then a dog starts barking really loundly so
nobody can hear anything
the undertaker goes to the cellar and
kills the dog
they buried peter and huck never found out if the money was
still in the coffin
the king states that they’ll have to leave soon because his congregation in england needs him, and then he says tha thtye’ll
take the girls with them
the first thing the king did was
sell the slaves
the slaves and girls were all crying because the two sons were sent up the river to … while the mom was sent down the river to..

the duke and king ask huck if he went intot he king’s room at all but huck says
he didn’t
they then ask him if he saw anyone else go in there, and he says that he saw the slaves
go in the room
the duke and king complain about their loss as they
leave Huck’s room
