A

On a public level fashion is a multibillion dollar industry that very deliberately offers fantasies to consumers via dress. Fashion is a public expression that everyone can see and a collective fantasy on a societal level. This collective fantasy called fashion is a creative outlet; it allows consumers to have fun in a culturally sanctioned way. Very few people actually play polo but you can still live the fantasy of being a wealthy person who plays polo for leisure while your investment make money by purchasing ralph Lauren clothing.
