What is loss?
A
Anything that destroys some aspect, whether macroscopic or microscopic of life and self.

A
Ongoing loss as in the case of parents with children with development disabilities

A
Intense, pervasive and recurring sadness observed in parents of children with intellectual disabilities.

A
- to accept the reality of the loss
- to work through the pain of grief
- to adjust to an environment in which the lost person/thing is missing
