hinge- elbow - flexion/ extension only
pivot- between atlas and axis - rotation
ball and socket - hip joint
plane- acromioclavicular and zygaphophysial - sliding
saddle - carpometacarpal (trapezium + first metacarpal)
condylar - meracarpophalangeal joint - flexion, extension, abduction, adduction and circumduction
