What is soft Credit?
When someone gets credit for gift. (EX - whe you have two people that are married for example, if zac has money and gives, I get credit as well.
What is a constituent?
Non-Profit term, basically refer to a record in the database. Could be donor, or prospect.
What are custom tiles in Etap?
you have the ability to make custom tiles on the main screen of E tapestry . (When you create a custom tile, you then have to add the fields you would like to see in the title.
What does the ‘Search Bar’ in E Tapestry not search for?
Does not search certain words, referred to stop words.
-EX- ‘The’ Mr.’ ‘Street’ will not show any results.
Do last names work in the E tapestry search bar?
Yes! You are able to search last names in the E Tapestry search bar.
When adding new accounts in E Tapestry, what are good things to look for?
Make sure you don’t have any duplicates.
Do you have the ability to keep track and manage relationships in Etapestry?
Yes!
- You can create a new relationship. when in the account, you should see a ‘New Relationship’ button.
How many households can one account belong to?
1.
- No more than 1
What do journals do within accounts?
This tracks a timeline of information with constituent.
What are the 4 different types of transactions that go through R Tapestry?
- Gift/Pledges
- Pledge Payment
- Split Transaction
- Rec. Gifts scheduling
What best describes the items that can be stored in the journal? in E Tapestry?
All interactions including transactions, notes, and contacts.
Which journal entry would you add to record a gift-in-kind?

What is ‘Clarify’ and what does it do for Blackbaud?
Makes it so the company keeps track of everything the customer and support has discussed. You have to record every phone call, everything that was done, Screenshots help as well.
