- Identify the problem (well defined problem sets out the data to be collected
- creating research design (plan to collect and analyze data)
- choice of research method (secondary data, primary data)
- selecting the sampling method (probability vs non-probability)
- collection of data(pre-test, main test)
- analyze the data
- Writing report and presentation of the data
- Follow up
