Why can Philip Randolph be considered an important Civil Rights leader/ activist?

A

. He was influential in understanding the power of non violent demonstrations.
. Him working with white sympathisers and putting pressures on the administration laid the groundwork for kings success and moved the Civil Rights movement further than it had ever gone.
. He was also the first leader to combine the tactics of all the other leaders in order to put pressure on the administration.
