S/S of eclampsia

A

SBP over 140 mmHg or DBP over 90 mmHg

AND 1+ of the following:

  • Proteinuria
  • Renal impairment (proteinuria, high creatinine)
  • Liver disease (epigastric pain, liver tenderness, elevated AST/ALT)
  • Neuro problems (seizure, visual disturbance, clonus)
  • Hematologic changes (thrombocytopenia - , hemolysis, DIC)
  • Fetal grown restriction

Severe if SBP over 160 or DBP over 110, or if sever organ dysfunction
