Can be defined as “kinky”, changing views of masturbation, use of sex toys, varied individual points of view

get mix of research on exotic dancers. Survivors, dancers, non-conformists, workers. Structure of power within the industry (individual level and institutional level)

Debates over definition. Internal debates. Debates over social policy and legislation continue today
