Chronicles

A

Epic’s database management system. Chronicles keeps track of all the information about your patients, providers, procedures, and more. Chronicles groups data into master files.

A

the interface you’ve used to document imaging exams and information. Hyperspace does not store data. It is in constant communication with Chronicles.

A

collect information about one aspect of Epic, like users who work at your organization or procedures that are performed there. INI: User master file = EMP

A

a collection of information about one department makes up that department’s record. Records can interface with one another. INI: DEP = Department master file
