Storming-

Norming-
- Players start to work together
- Team defines acceptable behaviour
- Have cohesion
Performing-
- Work as a unit
- Dissent is used to improve players
- Team members trusted to perform their role

Task cohesion-
- Their ability to work towards a common goal
- More important than social cohesion for team performance
Social cohesion-
- Interpersonal relationship between players
Factors affecting cohesion-
- Environment (size of team, experience)
- Team (relative ability, success)
- Leader (leadership style)
- Individual (social relationships)

"An increase in arousal level because we are being watched by people who are judging us"
